The best time of the year to visit Thailand is from the second half of
November to February. This is in fact the cool season, during which the
temperatures are gentle and pleasant in almost the whole Country. In the
north, also because of the altitude, the nights are very fresh while the
days are still pleasantly warm. In the centre and in the south the climate
is always sunny, even if a few thunderstorms are always possible. In the
extreme south of the peninsula rains are very abundant at this time of the
year as well.
During the hot season, i.e.
from the second half of March to May, temperatures are often higher than
40 degrees. The rains, brought by the monsoons, are more frequent from
July to October and during these months the hot temperatures are hard
to tolerate because of the high humidity rate.
